Interoperability Assessments

Although interoperability can mean different things to different people, Optinet Systems adopts the computing industry definition of interoperability as the requirement for users to exchange and use information within a large heterogeneous network that is comprised of several local area networks.  Typically, an interoperability assessment would be appropriate to organizations that have grown over the years without applying system standardization or a formalized strategic technology plan.
