Check here for useful tips that either you learned and forgot or never knew. The idea of Tip of the Month grew from our Operations & Project Manager, Judy Sharabi. When Judy is at your desk for 1 minute she will offer a “tip” to help you do something easier and faster whether it be your ShoreTel Communicator tool or a Microsoft application. We believe that when learning is a “continuous layering” process, it helps us become highly effective users of our technology tools—which after all should be servants to us, not the other way around. Call Handling Note
Use a call note to provide more useful information to your colleagues about you status. For example, when you are on vacation you can define the date and/or length of your vacation. This is done by recording a call handling note in the specific call handling mode.
When you are in that call handling mode and a colleague hovers over your status light in the contact viewer they will be able to see the note you entered. If you’d like instructions on how to do this email: Tip of the Month.
